DLP today!

Hey everyone,

I hope you're all okay.

In light of recent events, I took a bit of a break from blogging. I just didn't know what to say but I'm sat at the airport waiting for my flight & I thought now is as good as a time as ever.

I'm not going to go into massive detail about Friday night because quite honestly, there's so many different opinions & stuff it can get quite messy as I've seen happen on social media countless times already.

All I will say is that I am absolutely heartbroken regarding not only the attacks in Paris on November 13th but for everything sad & negative happening in the world lately. I have such a heavy heart & my thoughts & love go out to everyone affected.

Disneyland Paris has decided to close until 18th November, in side with France's 3 days of mourning. Understandably my sister & myself were very confused as to whether we wanted to continue on with our trip. We felt guilty for doing something so magical & so fun after such a devastating tragedy. We sat down with our family & had a long & well thought out discussion about what we should do. We decided we would go. There's lots of characters in the hotels & Disney village is open so we can spend a day & a half meeting characters & doing shopping & then the rest of our time in the parks doing the rides we want to do.

If these attacks taught us anything, it's that life is so short & so precious. You never know what could happen so you should make the most of every moment with the people you love & that is exactly why we've decided to go ahead with our trip.

We're currently in the departure lounge waiting for our flight to be called & we're so excited. As excited as I am, I'm also a bundle of nerves because I am terrified of flying! I've bought two books to keep me occupied. "Girl Online" bye Zoe Sugg (Zoella) & "Wedding Night" by Sophie Kinsella. I might do a blog post on what I think about them. (Maybe, we'll see).

Anyway I've had zero sleep, I'm absolutely shattered but at the same time wide awake with nerves & excitement. It'll be interesting to see how Disney is regarding the circumstances.

I'll try & upload as soon as possible however this may not be until I'm back on Friday 20th November.

Have a good week guys & I'll talk to yous all when I'm back!

Take care, I'm off to be a princess & hang out with the main mouse himself!

Lots of love, B xo

Character wish list!

Hello everyone!

I hope you're all well & having a good day! Before I get on to the main point of this blog post today I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your support yesterday. I was so nervous to put this out there for other people to see but you were all so lovely. So thank you :)

Anyway, getting on to the post! As you know, in 5 days I am off to Disneyland Paris. One of my favourite things about Disneyland Paris, as it is for others, is meeting the characters. It makes for such lovely memories & more often than not, can make the trip!

When I visited last year, unfortunately I couldn't get to meet many characters. However I did meet a few, so I'm going to put some photos up & show you. Then I'm going to make a character wish list of who I would love to meet when I go next week!

I think this is probably the photo where I look most happiest & it definitely was one my happiest moments so far. Disney began with Pinocchio for me, according to my mum, it was the first film I ever watched & that's where it all began so meeting Gepetto definitely made my trip! He was so lovely & funny! I met him during the stars & cars parade but unfortunately they've stopped that now. I really hope I get to see him and/or Pinocchio during this trip. If I met Pinocchio, I think I would cry all the happy tears haha.

Here you can see I met Aladdin, Donald Duck & Eeyore! They were great fun & I loved getting their autographs! Although I don't look all that great, I still love these photos! Hopefully I'll look a bit better this time around haha!

Anyway, onto my list. These are in no particular order & I know I probably won't get to meet all of these but here's my wish list anyway! Let me know who you would like to meet! :)

- Pinocchio
- Belle
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- Jack Skellington/Sandy Claws
- Chip & Dale
- Prince Charming
- Cinderella
- Rapunzel
- Flynn
- Goofy
- Pluto
- Donald Duck
- Daisy Duck
- Buzz Lightyear
- Aladdin
- Tigger
- Winnie The Pooh
- Marie
- Princess Jasmine
- Merida
- Alice
- The Mad Hatter
- Miss Bunny
- Peter Pan

I think it's enough for now haha! I know it's highly unlikely I'll meet all of these but we can see when I get back, how many I meet! I'll be sure to get as many as I can!

Let me know who you've met or would like to meet?

Speak to you later!

What am I taking with me to Disneyland Paris?

Hiyaa!

I hope you're all well. So I did a post about what I'm taking in my park bag, I decided to do one about what I'm taking with me in my suitcase (it's actually a hold-all, cause I'm not taking a suitcase but you get the point).

This is my hold-all! It's exactly like the rucksack, just a hold-all. I thought it was super cute & I wanted it as soon as I saw it. Again, Minnie Mouse themed haha. This was £14 from Primark.

Here is my makeup bag & my wash bag. Anyone that knows me, knows I LOVE my makeup & I'm very particular about looking after my skin. Plus they were so cute, I couldn't decide which one I wanted so I got them both haha. Again, these were from Primark.

Here are some of the t shirts I'm taking, I've only missed one out purely because I couldn't get a decent picture. All Disney themed & I love them! They're all so comfy & I can't wait to wear them!

Minnie Mouse vans! I'm definitely noticing a theme here! Haha. I got these from
Schuh. I knew as soon as Vans & Disney announced they were doing a collaboration that I wanted a pair & these were so cute! I got them the very first day they come out in stores over here! They're super comfy & I can't wait to show Minnie & Mickey! I'm also taking a warm pair of combat/biker type boots incase I get really cold!

I love these socks! All from Primark, super cute! I've also got a fluffy pair as you can see just incase my tootsies get a bit cold or to chill in at the hotel Cheyenne.

Jumpers! This time of year, jumpers are a necessity. I thought these two were super cute, the black & white one is my favourite. They're both warm & comfy! I'm only there for five days, I didn't want to overpack so I thought two would be enough! I'll have my Parka coat on top of these if it gets too chilly!

Finally, my Disney princess pjs! I saw these & fell in love. They're cute, comfortable & made for princesses. Again, these are from Primark & I can't wait to wear them. I've been looking at all these in my hold-all wanting to wear them all but I've done well, I've held myself back waiting for Disneyland.

Then I've got the necessities like undies etc & two pairs of jeans, one pair of leggings just in case it does get that extra bit cold! What are you taking?

So here I am, all packed & ready to go. All I've got left to do is get my euros & wait 6 days! I hope you like this post. What's in my Disneyland Paris park bag?

Hello!

It's only 6 days until my trip to Disneyland Paris so I thought I would show you what's in my Disneyland Paris park bag. I love seeing these kind of vlogs but I thought I would just do it in a blog instead! Baring in mind that there's some things I don't have yet until I get there such as a bottle of water etc.

Here is the bag I'm taking. I love, love, love this bag so much.

This cost £10 from Primark. It is so cute & I wanted it for ages but couldn't find it, luckily one of my friends found it so I went back to my local primark & bought it. It's covered in lots of small Minnie Mouse silhouettes with a sort of dangly one on the top strap. It's comfortable & fits all my things I want to take with me during the day around the parks with plenty of spare room.

Gloves this time of year, are essential. Obviously I had to buy the Minnie Mouse mittens! I think these are great for Disneyland Paris because they're fingerless so I can still use my iPhone & camera but can also cover my fingers if it gets a bit cold! Which it can do watching the parades etc :)

Okay, so I won't be taking this with me around the parks but it will be coming on the plane with me (it is a travel pillow after all). I am a nervous flyer. I cry, I feel sick, I shake. I'm not a good flyer at all. Having this helps calm me down, I just put the hood bit over my eyes, take deep breaths & prepare myself for take off. It's super comfortable & very cute as you can see.

So here I have my camera charging lead, my headphones, my portable plug, purse & park tickets (these are from last year) oh & I forgot my phone charger but that will mostly stay in the hotel room.

Here is my Minnie Mouse purse for all my coins (the other purse is for my Euro notes, emergency credit card & park tickets). I do love this purse, but it is very small & can only hold about €20 in coins haha. Next to it is an absolute essential when travelling, my passport!

Here is probably my favourite things to take with me other than my park tickets! I have my Minnie Mouse moleskin. (There's a theme here I've noticed haha) I love this little notebook so much. Not only is it super cute but inside has all my planning for my trip. Photos of the park, the hotel, the rides etc which I got from the Disneyland Paris brochure & stuck them in. It's also got things like my reservation plans, my flight times, list of restaurants I want to visit, my must do rides, my merchandise wish list & a list of characters I'm hoping to meet. I also wrote down in here everything I needed to buy for the trip, what I need to pack & important things to do whilst I'm there. It also holds all my paperwork!

Next to my Minnie Mouse moleskin is something no Disney trip for me is complete without & that is Minnie Mouse ears! Admittedly I won't be taking these with me, as these are old & tatty now, but I will be buying myself a pair when I'm out there. Although they will only be in my bag when I'm on the rides & asleep. Other than that, they will be firmly on my head haha.

The last thing I have in my bag, again, I'll be buying a new one when I get there, is an autograph book & pen! I know a lot of people say I'm too old to get their autographs but I love it! It's all part of the fun & I love looking back on them & reminiscing about my trip.

That's all from me about what I take in my park bag. I don't think I've forgotten anything have I? What do you take in yours? Any questions or comments please contact me!

Sorry I've rambled on a bit, I tend to do this when I'm excited haha. I hope you enjoy it!

See ya real soon!

Friday 6 November 2015

I'm going to Disneyland Paris!

I am so so SO excited to be going to my favourite place (Disneyland Paris, in case you couldn't guess 😉) with my favourite person - my little sister! We fly out on the 16th November & we come back home on the 20th. We're flying with Easyjet & we're staying at the Hotel Cheyenne.

We don't have a meal plan booked, only breakfast but realistically this works out better for us anyway. We have added on the Photopass Plus which we got for £32 which I think is an amazing deal. We booked everything through Magic Breaks, except the flights & the shuttle taking us to & from the Airport/Disneyland Paris.

I went to Disneyland Paris last year, but my younger sister hasn't been since we were very young. It was her 16th birthday in September so I decided I would take her to Disneyland Paris as her birthday present. To celebrate her birthday, we're having dinner at Cafe Mickey!

My birthday is 11 days after my sisters & unfortunately this year due to family circumstances, my birthday didn't really happen, it's a long story but basically to celebrate my birthday (kind of like a second chance birthday) we're going to have lunch with the princesses. We're both very excited about the whole trip & both of the character meals. What also makes us really excited is that when we go, Christmas season will be in full swing! I've seen lots of photos of the decorations & it looks beautiful! We can't wait!

Before I go to Disneyland Paris, I do have a few blog posts planned for you. These will be things like what am I taking clothes wise, what's going in my park bag, character wish list, merch wish list etc etc.

Sorry the design of this blog isn't all that great, unfortunately I only have my mobile to do this on so please bare with me until I can get this sorted.

I hope you like my blog, feel free to talk to me anytime & I will have most of my photos on my Instagram so if you wish to follow me on there, my username is bcoreilly. I usually do follow back as well :)

Hopefully my next blog post will be up a bit later on today & will be more put together than this one!

Have a lovely day my DLP lovers! Speak to you soon - B xo
